My baby girl is growing up so fast and it seems like every day she is doing something new! It is making my head spin!
Here are some new pics of her taken so far in October. The first pics are from Thursday when Emme Claire and I were getting ready to go pick Aunt Dean up to go to lunch and then we went to her house to visit.
My mom bought EC a Rainforest Jumperoo. Brian built it Friday night after we got home from my grandmother's visitation. She played in it for a long time. She loved it! Thank goodness! Now maybe I can put her in that and get some things done around here.
I took a pic of her on her changing pad to show how long she is getting. She is gonna outgrow that thing before too long, then I don't know what I'm going to do.
I bought EC a stuffed owl the other day and I got some cute pics of her with it. I think she likes it. :)
Instead of me trying to load all those pics on here just copy and paste the link below into your browser and you can view the ones I posted on my Facebook account.

I had EC's pumpkin patch pics taken Saturday morning by K & K Photography. So far I have seen 4 of them and they are so cute. Karie will be putting them in an online gallery for viewing on her website and when she does I will post it on here so y'all can go see them too. I found her a super cute dress that has owls all over it and I put polka dots baby legs (baby legs are leg warmers for babies and they are so cute) on her. She looked so adorable in that outfit. Oh and I bought her a little pair of brown leather shoes to wear with it. They are soft soled shoes for babies and they fit her perfectly. I can't wait to see all the pics!

Mamaw Bibber
My Mamaw Bibber passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009. Wilma Hightower was 83. She lived a long blessed life. She had a huge family that loved her dearly. She influenced my life greatly and I will forever miss her. She and I were very close and we spent a lot of time together. I'm so grateful for the time I got to spend with her. I took her to many of her doctor appointments and we would always go out for lunch. I would take her for pizza sometimes because she loved pizza but didn't get it very often. Sometimes we would go to the Cracker Barrel because she loved their cornbread muffins. I took her to get her groceries and her medicine. And most times she would say "Do you feel like having some ice cream?" and we would go somewhere to get a shake or a scoop. I have a sweet tooth and I know just where it came from. :) One year she was trying to decide what to give everyone for Christmas and I suggested we make up a cookbook of all her special recipes. So she gathered them up and some she had to write down because she just had them in her head. And I typed them all up, printed them out and put them in little books. And so that year she gave everyone 'Mamaw Bibber's Recipe Book'. I'm so glad I did that because I will always cherish it. And I use it all the time. We would go to the movies in Ruston and she loved it. She just loved to get the yummy buttery popcorn (so do I). I took her several times to the Biedenharn Museum in Monroe to see the flowers. She loved all her flowers at home and she always had the prettiest bulbs that would bloom every year. We made sure to get one of the 5 cent glass bottle Cokes when we were at Biedenharn and we would either sit on the bench and drink it or wander around the flowers drinking it. My mamaw was funny and the best story teller. She told me a lot of funny stories about my dad when he was little. He is her oldest child. We would talk about my dogs, she liked to hear about the funny things they were always doing. I'm going to miss visiting with her. She was a truly a blessing in my life and I am so glad I had 32 years to spend with her. I will have to tell my little Emme Claire all about her great grandmother and what a wonderful person she was.

Brian met us for lunch that day and took this picture.

Mamaw Bibber's 82nd birthday party at Aunt Raina's house. I bought her this cake from Kacee's Sugar and Spice.

She had a good time at her party! This was January 2008.

This picture was from her last birthday, her 83rd. I bought this cake for her from Chrissy's Cakes and she loved it! This was January 2009.

Cloud Dust Trunk Show
I'm hosting a Cloud Dust trunk show on Saturday, October 16th from 2 to 4 pm at my house in Chatham and you are invited! It will be come and go anytime during those hours. Cloud Dust is handmade clothes for children. Mostly girls clothes but she does make some boy clothes too. Her stuff is very unique and she uses some great fabric. She designs her own clothes and this will be her fall/winter line. The lady who makes these clothes lives in Magnolia, AR.
She has made a few outfits for Emme Claire (the green and purple pear hat outfit and the pillowcase dress that matches her bedding) and she is the one who made EC's crib bedding and a diaper bag too. She is very talented. I hope you all can make it. Oh and if you have a friend who wants to come feel free to bring them with you. You might find the perfect outfit for Christmas or for an upcoming photo session. I know that her clothes start at infant sizes but I'm not sure what they stop at. I know I've seen girls who look around 6 or 7 modeling her clothes. I will check and see what sizes are available and I'll let y'all know.
She has a blog where you can view some of her past outfits. (She has also gotten into photography recently and so some of the blog posts are about that but if you go through her post history you can find the posts that are about her clothes.) Oh and right at the top of her blog there is a slideshow of some of her clothes.

UPDATE TO THIS POST!!! She has made boy clothes in the past but this time it's just girl clothes. Sorry! But if you only have boys you are still welcome to come and shop for your nieces Christmas presents or for girl baby shower gifts etc.
The girls sizes are from newborn to 6/7.

5 Months Old!
Last week Emme Claire turned 5 months old! She is growing and changing so fast! Part of me wants her to stay a little baby but it is fun to see her learning and doing new things. She found her feet and like to grab them and just hold them. She has started trying to pull her knees up to crawl when she is on her belly but she doesn't yet know what to do with her arms so it makes her mad that she can't get anywhere. She is really loving her baby food and sometimes I think she prefers it over her formula.
We had a great time in Houston. Brian worked part of the time and while he was working Emme Claire and I shopped. I found her a lot of cute things to wear this fall/winter. We ate a lot of good food. We got to see our friends Anna and Darcy. We went to the Italian Style Expo which was fun. We spent a day in The Woodlands eating and shopping. I didn't take very many pics while we were gone but I did get a few of EC.
She is wearing the pear outfit made by Cloud Dust. I got this for her before she was born and she is finally able to wear it. I forgot to bring the matching pear hat with me so I'll have to get another picture of her later on wearing the hat with it.

Doesn't she look so sweet in her little hat? :)

Getting ready to go to dinner with Anna and Darcy.

She loves these plastic links. She holds them all the time and when she falls asleep in the carrier she is usually holding them in her sleep.

In the hotel room, getting ready to head out for the day.

Green Beans!!
We decided to finally try giving Emme Claire some real baby food. The doctor said to start out with the green ones. So we gave her green beans. At first she wasn't sure about it. Then after a few bites she decided it was pretty good and she ate the whole jar (2.5 oz). She had green stuff all over her!!! Luckily it all came out in the wash.

Emme Claire is 21 weeks old!
Well today my baby was 21 weeks old. In one week she will be 5 months old!!! Time flies!
She is such a happy baby, always smiling! This morning I was laying in bed with her. I had her leaned up against her Boppy and I was stroking her hair and I could have just eaten her up! I am so in love with this baby!!! She couldn't be more perfect! Our routine now is that when she wakes up in the morning I of course change her diaper first and then I give her a bottle and then we lay in bed and watch Sesame Street (I record it so it doesn't matter what time it is I can always turn it on) and then sometime during Sesame Street she falls back asleep for her morning nap. I usually try to take that nap with her.
Her hair has grown so much. She never lost any like most people say babies do. Hers has only gotten longer and thicker. And now there are bits of it that curl out. It is so cute! And her eyes are still very blue and beautiful!
This week her new favorite toy are these plastic links that you put together in a string. I'll have to get a pic of her playing with them to post on here. She loves to shake the links and stick them in her mouth.
She is still eating her cereal with apple juice everyday and she loves it. She eats it all up. Well, the parts that don't end up on her face and hands anyway. We need to start her on the green baby foods soon but we are leaving town Tuesday morning to go to Houston so I'm not sure if we'll get to start her on something new right now. We might have to wait until we get back.
She is still growing so fast. The 6 month size footed pajamas that I bought her just a week or so ago are already getting a little short on her. They would fit fine if they didn't have the feet built in. Brian wants to cut the feet out of them and I told him No Way!
Here are a couple of pics that I took of her a few days ago on the couch. Brian was laying on the couch with her and so he took the cushions off and while they were playing she fell asleep like this. I thought she looked so sweet sleeping sitting up in the corner like that.

Brian said I was putting too many tutu pics on EC's blog so I created a new blog that is just for my little business. If you go to my profile on here you can click on it or you can go straight to it by typing this in your web browser. www.sugarplumfairieshuckleberries.blogspot.com
Hopefully I can get the tutu posts moved from this blog over to my new blog. If that is possible.

New tutus!
Here are a few recent tutus I've made.
The Lil' Techster tutu is very popular. This one with the matching tutu poof headband was for a customer. I can't wait to see a pic of her little one wearing it.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry tutu - matte brown and pink - shown in 12" length
