Introduction

I've created this blog so that all our friends and family can keep up with Emme Claire. I will be posting things about her on here hopefully daily but maybe not right at first. We'll see how things are going. In the beginning it might be sporadic until we can get into a good routine.

I'll be posting new pictures of her here and updates on her doctor visits and health. Also as she gets bigger this will be a good place to tell about the funny or cute things she does. So check back frequently for updates.

As of now the plan is to have her on Thursday, April 23rd at 9 am at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, LA. We hope she doesn't decide to come earlier than that. If all goes according to plan we will come home from the hospital on Sunday the 26th. If you are wondering about our furbabies and where they will be during all of this. Brian is taking them Wednesday to the doggy hotel in Shreveport and he will pick them back up either the Tuesday or Wednesday after we come back home. We are going to take a couple of days to settle in before we introduce the pups to Emme Claire. I'm anxious to see their reaction to her.

I'll also be posting some pictures of her nursery on here so everyone can see the sweet little room we have created for her to live in. I think it is coming together fabulously and it has been a lot of fun to design and decorate.
